What is a Shaver Socket?
| The shaver sockets that we sell are all fitted with an internal transformer. Only this type can be fitted in a bathroom as the transformer isolates the supply from the mains making it safer and suitable for bathroom use. Our shaver sockets are duel voltage and have two 2 pin outlets on the faceplate enabling them to operate within two voltage ranges 220/240v (UK Ireland & specific countries worldwide) or 110/120v (USA & specific countries worldwide). Our shaver Sockets have an earth terminal as well as live and neutral terminals and these terminals will accept 2 x 1.5mm Twin & Earth Cables. We recommend 47mm deep wall boxes for mounting our Shaver Sockets. We can also supply single sized Shaver Sockets on request. |

Happy to find they could do 2 dimmers on the large switch size rather than the smaller square type you usually get. Very helpful with dimmer sizes two for the bulbs we had.

So much easier. Should have changed to having USB chargers in plug sockets a long time ago. Love the copper too.
